DTH 3

DTH 3 is designed to do basically the same thing as DTH 1 in that it will hold your warning tape flat so you can read the writing on the tape. It is however designed mainly for mezzanines or work on an elevated level that has handrails on both sides. You clip the DTH 3 to the handrail and thread your warning tape through it. Now you have a barrier without having to drag delineators to the elevated level.

The DTH 3 can also be used on the main level in connection with the DTH 1. In the construction industry a lot of times we have chain link fences that stop and switch to delineators. You can use the DTH 3 to hook to a chain link fence on one side and the DTH 1 on a delineator on the other end where you can easily lift the DTH off one end to allow access into the controlled zone, again without damaging your warning tape.

DTH 1 and DTH 3 have been tested on numerous real jobs with huge success. The contractors saved money on materials because the original tape did not have to be replaced throughout the entire project. It saved time and manpower by not having to be replaced numerous times during the project. But most importantly it was visually sound in that you could read the message on the warning tape at all times.
